ADMISSIONS COUNSELING SERVICES

An arts-based undergraduate and graduate education are unique to each person and pathways differ based on students’ artistic majors, private or public options, size, location, secondary majors or minors, internships, housing, extra-curricular options, or special needs.

My one-on-one counseling sessions go into the in-depth personalized college search and list building; portfolio development and editing based on each college’s individual application requirements; and creating an artist/designer statement that can be used as a base for college and scholarship applications.

Majors/Interests: Animation, architecture, ceramics, computer/digital media, craft, drawing, fashion design, film, fine art, game design, glass, graphic design, illustration, industrial design, interactive media, jewelry, new genres, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, time-based media, toy design, transportation design, visual & augmented reality design, visual communications, etc.

I have over 25 years of experience in arts-based education and admissions as an enrollment leader at a large research university and private non-profit art institutions, as well as a studio instructor/mentor in multiple colleges assisting high school and college students to build competitive personalized portfolios for undergraduate and graduate applications.
